2024-2025 SEASON — 15th Anniversary
THE GLUE FACTORY PROJECTS

MARCH 28 - APRIL 6, 2025

STAND BY — an allegory

“…delightful and poignant…humor and sadness are expressed keenly in all the production elements…eloquence…performances are first rate.”   -- The New York Times
"Corningworks showcases some of the most daring and jaw-dropping performances in Pittsburgh.   Sometimes serious, sometimes quirky, always artistic and boldly compelling…proving that dance can be not just a form of provocative entertainment, but an implement for change.” — Lisa Cunningham,  TABLE MAGAZINE

CORNINGWORKS is a vehicle for the multi-disciplinary, daring, dancetheater productions by Beth Corning that combine sophistication, clarity of theatrical concepts, visceral choreography, and dynamic musicality. Humor co-exists with serious examination of such issues as race, gender, aging, death, inequality, politics, human rights, art and myth. With a seasoned and passionate voice Corning, along with renowned collaborators, explore and expose captured glimpses, and startling slices of the human condition.
